Back 4 Blood update: trailers
There are a bunch of new trailers for Back 4 Blood’s Children of the Worm, but unfortunately we can’t show them here due to age restrictions. However, you can check out the launch trailer below:
Back 4 Blood Updates: New Campaign
Arguably the biggest part of this new expansion, Children of the Worm adds a new six-chapter act for players to experience. This also comes with a new Duffel Bag item, which players can carry until the end of a quest to receive a reward.
The Children of the Worm will be their biggest threat, but it’s still unclear who they really are. You’ll have to fight the Riders and the Children of the Worm now. Defeating this mysterious group and finding the survivors they’ve taken hostage.
Back 4 Blood Update: New Cleaners
“Prophet” Dan is Fort Hope’s newest scavenger, described as an Irishman driven by delusions. Having been separated from his “herd”, Dan sets out to retrieve them from the Children of the Worm.
Playing with him allows us to see unusual events around Dan while reviving a teammate, and respawn also provides random status effects. His abilities also impact the team, as other survivors will now experience damage resistance along with knockback immunity. Dan is also fiercely loyal if a teammate is incapacitated, Dan will experience enhanced combat prowess.
Available in Campaign and Swarm PvP for DLC owners, it can be unlocked in Swarm PvP for everyone else.
Back 4 Blood update: new weapons and items
October’s Back 4 Blood update provides a bunch of new items. Now you can get your hands on everything you could possibly want when fighting hordes of Ridden. You will also have in your hands a bunch of new weapons. Along with some major updates to the shooting range. Expansion 2’s new weapons, along with a minigun, will be ready for you to test at range.
There are also eight new expansion-exclusive Cleaner skins and some non-exclusive ones as well. Along with more banners, sprays, and emblems, Children of the Worm has a lot of good stuff.
- bear trap
- bait jar
- smoke grenade
Back 4 Blood Update: New Enemies
The Children of the Worm are the newest enemies to be added to Back 4 Blood. these assailants wearing gas masks target survivors on the Kanowa River shore.
The Children of the Worm can be divided into these subgroups: the bow and arrow wielding “Crone”. The “Sniper” happy on the trigger. A toxic attacker, the “Pusflinger”. Finally, the gigantic tank is called the “Slasher”.
While the motive remains unclear, the events share a common thread, the kidnapping of a few survivors. Sadly, many are shot down on sight.
However, this information appears to be faulty. It conflicts with Ridden’s previously documented behavior, so it begs the question. Is this a new mutation of something far more sinister?
